1. Diabetes Australia NSW (DA –NSW) has produced the following resources:

• Website for kids and teens with type 1 Diabetes - www.diabeteskidandteens.com.au: providing comprehensive information for kids and teens, parents, carers, teachers and health professional
• Professor Bumblebee’s Guide to Type 1 diabetes”: this resource produced as a DVD and video, and also in book format is a 12 –minute animation of what occurs in the body when a child is diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, hypoglycaemia and treatment, and high levels. 
• Revised School Information Pack: information for schools on management of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes at schools. Addition to the pack, a management plan and emergency card is included.
• Healthy Eating on an Insulin Pump: provides comprehensive nutrition information to assist dietitians with pump education.
• Healthy Shopping Guide: 2004- 05 Edition: The popular healthy shopping guide has been updated with the latest foods and beverages that meet Diabetes Australia’s comprehensive nutrition criteria. It also includes practical tips for reading labels and nutrition tips for general healthy eating.
